I'm looking for my husband's paternal grandfather Martin Coyne, born in 1872 (possibly 1873) in Galway. He moved to Jarrow, England where he married Ann Hart in 1899. He had 10 children, only 5 of whom lived into adulthood: Margaret, Mary, Martin, Thomas and Peter. Sadly he was killed in a workplace accident in 1923. Can anyone help with names of parents and/or siblings please. The family think he came from Letterfrack.

Ellen is Ellen King. There is a marriage and other children for this couple.

Elisabeth, you need to purchase the marriage certificate to check Martin's father's name. You could be searching the wrong family otherwise, Martin Coyne is a fairly common name.

Fathers name appears to be Martin as well

Thanks for the advice and suggestions -all really helpful. I ordered Martin and Ann's marriage certficate 10 days ago and thought I'd post here whilst waiting. Realise it's a common name. My husband is also Martin! Feel like it's his mother's name which is key so will follow up that suggestion.
