Title: Alva burials - Watt
Post by: wattnb on Friday 24 February 17 12:49 GMT (UK)
Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the burials for Alva are available online? Or can anyone do a look-up please?

Looking for burial of William Watt slater born circa 1760 died before 1834. Also Charles Watt slater born around 1805 died 1874.

Thank you.
Norma

There are none on Scotland's People which is the most likely place you might find any on line.
You can off course order Charles death registration from SP. It may contain some extra detail but no guarantee.

SP is not a good place to look for burials. They only have burials if they are recorded in the pre-1854 Parish Registers. They do not have any information about burials after that apart from a library of books of inscriptions already published.

Alva is in the historic county of Clackmannanshire. It is also in the present Clackmannanshire area, so any burial records for Alva will be in the care of Clackmannanshire Council. See http://www.clacksweb.org.uk/community/searchburialrecords/
