Title: John Davis occupation
Post by: Lisajb on Monday 27 February 17 19:14 GMT (UK)
Would anyone be able to puzzle out John Davis' occupation from this snip of the 1851 Wales census?  He's on the middle line.

Reference is HO107/piece 2473/folio 185/page 13/household schedule number 65, and this was in Carmarthen

Mason - journeyman.            Have you checked the 1861 entry?

Thanks Carole

The 1861 for him I haven't found yet - was hoping an occupation might narrow it down at bit!
