Hello,
I have recently found out that there are 4 records in the London England Workhouse Admission & Discharge Records 1659-1930 pertaining to my ancestors Caroline Eliza Barginall, Caroline Barginall and Eliza Barginall on Ancestry.co.uk. At present I do not have a subscription with Ancestry, but was wondering if it would be worth subscribing to get access to them. What information would I get from them? I'd appreciate any thoughts or info please, thank you,

it might also be worth checking out your local library to see if they offer free access in-house to Ancestry Library Edition.

I have viewed the records, there are entries on four pages, simply 2x admission and 2x discharge.

if you do not have other information, birth, death etc. that may also be available separately (not from workhouse records) let me know.

use the Personal Message method to send a contact e-mail so I can send you copies.

Parents James and Elizabeth  add.24 Meeting House Lane occ. Labourer.

before I upload the images let me dig about a little more.
there seems to be confusion regarding Caroline Eliza's Father's name.

the birth entry shows James & Elizabeth whereas you indicate Joseph & Elizabeth.

hang fire for now now and I'll get back to you this weekend.

Oh my gosh, I do apologise, Tony, yes, Caroline Eliza b. c1886 is James & Elizabeth's daughter.
Caroline b. c1850 is Joseph & Elizabeth's daughter,

thanks for that Mary, saves a lot of searching.

for starters: Caroline Eliza was born 28/09/1886
James married Elizabeth Neil in June 1870.
James died September 1898 age 46.
Elizabeth died March 1916 age 61.
