Hello and welcome to my family.
My great grandmother's name was Eileen Carroll, she was born in 1930. Her parents were Hannah and Thomas.
Hannah was one of nine children, her parents were William and Jane, but I can't find any records for Jane, not before nor after she married.

In which country and county?
There are 2 Eileen Carroll's born in 1930, on FreeBMD:
In Leeds and in Elham.
-
My grandmother was born in Cork, as was her mother, I think. Ireland.

Who has the Ivis name?
Bev

Hello, I have just seen this post, and my grandmother was Catherine j ivis, and I think Hannah may have been her sister. I have Hannah on my family tree with her dates as 1892 - 1956. I believe their parents were William j ivis1858 - 1931 and his wife was Jane Morrissey 1871 - 1931. I believe Jane's father was a john Morrissey.
I attach a photo of Catherine, she died in 1971.
If correct we would be distant cousins. I have a family tree on ancestry if you want to see it.

C Reg Birth, Marriage and Death results for Ivis http://www.rootschat.com/links/01n16/
If you go to https://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php and select Cork as County, you get the Districts and then select those Districts from list on Left on above Link.
You can then research them at your leisure going forward, backward or sideways for siblings etc and build them up as you please rather than having a few snippets posted.
