Title: Where is West Dean by Seaford, Sussex
Post by: Westy11 on Tuesday 21 March 17 03:43 GMT (UK)
I am a tad confused if West Dean by Seaford is the correct name?

The Weald doesn't have a West Dean by Seaford.  The Sussex Family History Group doesn't have one by that name however does have a West Dean, Lewes All Saints & West Dean (Chichester) & West Dean, Binderton.

Any ideas?

I think the church could be listed as West Dean, Lewes All Saints  http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/SSX/WestDean-Seaford    (   http://sussex.villagenet.co.uk/westdean.php  )

Thanks solidrock,

As I am not a UK resident I wanted to be very sure, especially as I look for baptisms and burials and there seems to be 3 different variations to West Dean. :-\
