Title: South Australia , records and assistance.
Post by: DixieFamily on Tuesday 21 March 17 04:00 GMT (UK)
Hi
Previously I have been provided assistance with Alexander Wood and Elizabeth Wilson Reid.

See the following.

There is an Alexander Frederick Reid Wood born at Saddleworth, 23 June 1868 to Alexander Wood and Elizabeth Wilson Reid.
Gilbert 65/160

And a link to Trove advising of Elizabeth's death noting her as the eldest daughter of William Reid Wilson.

Alexander and Elizabeth were married in 1862 in Stirling North, near Port Augusta.

I cannot establish when Elizabeth arrived in Australia. And cannot find records concerning per parents. Any help re this family would be appreciated.

Regards

Can you tell us what/where 'SA' refers to please?

It does help others to do look-ups (to help you) if they can relate to full titles as 'SA' can refer to a few different places especially on the 'Beginners Board' which doesn't relate to any Town/County/Country   :-\

Annie

Added, I note you have now changed the original 'Subject Heading' to state 'South Australia' rather than 'SA', Thankyou!

Pretty sure it is South Australia

Thanks Ros,

Would have been better if OP made it clear for non Oz folks though as we all enjoy reading/researching requests if we know initially where, without having to guess locations  ;D
