Hi,
I can't find him on 1911 census. There is an Edward McGuigan on 1901 census Tattysallagh House 1 aged 8 and a boarder.  This might be him although I thought he was born in 1900 (died 1975 aged approx. 75).  We don't know anything about him before his marriage in 1929.

I just put Edward, age 1 (+/-5) in Search  http://www.rootschat.com/links/01jtr/

as Surname can be spelt different ways, didn't spot him, there was 1 McGuiggan in Donegal, even though they are Sorted by Surname some McG's show up after McM's etc....

Hey just came across your post, I have also mcguigans in my family. The name is a big issue. Anyway in 1851 family down as Mcguiggan,  1901 census McGuigan, and in 1911 family Goodwin.  On birth certs I have both seen Mcguigan and Goodwin.

Hope this helps
