Does anyone know of any local PUBlications for Gloucestershire - specifically Frocester/Eastington/Frampton on Severn/Arlingham area where some of my ancestors had pubs?
Thanks for any information :)

Could you post details - especially the names and time periods? This would help us to find info.
All the best

Yes of course. In the same order as the villages mentioned the pubs are
The George
Kings Head
The Bell
Passage Inn
All mid 1800's to early 1900's.
The families are
William Pick
John Edward & Louisa Howell
Joseph Pick (not a landlord but worked there)
Frederick James Burroughs
I have census info for the families just wondering if any pub history type books exists that may mention them.
There is an interesting little book for the Swindon area in Wiltshire called Home Brewed and this got me thirsty - excuse the pun! - for more.

I found some info and an old picture of the King's Head, Eastington on it, I haven't checked the others but it looks like a good start.

Maybe a bit early for the period you are researching, but http://www.british-history.ac.uk/ is always worth a look.
Also, e-bay has copies of "Inns & Pubs of the Cotswolds" by Mark Turner for around £5 - I haven't read it so I don't know if your inns are mentioned.

Cheers Philip for taking the time to reply.
It's a smashing old photo to add to my folder :D

You are most welcome. My ancestor sold beer from his house, which has long-since been demolished, so I am envious of you! :P
