Does anyone know if there s a Nursing Register for around 1893 for the West Midlands?

At that era, any register would be at the hospital/organisation level.

Some registers a little later than your date are on Ancestry. You can search for free at most local libraries

There was no central register of civilian nurses before 1921. Before 1919, when the General Nursing Council was established, records of nurses were kept by individual nurse training schools, most of which were attached to major hospitals, where the records can often still be found.

I have just found out my Great Grandmother was a District Nurse in Kinver in 1940's and before that elsewhere. Sarah Anne Thexton. If anyone has heard of her. I presume she must have been linked to a Dr's or Hospital.
