I'm trying to find if William Collins and Anne ( nee Mead ) married in 1768 in Elstree had any children please

Some of Elstree's parish register transcriptions are searchable at www.familysearch.org

To see what is available click here and scroll down to Elstree

look for baptsims and the date range and then put in an 'optional' surname.

I found one entry in 1790.

Whether it's correct is hard to tell as mothers maiden surnames aren't recorded on baptisms unless the child is illegitimate and either no fasther is named or both surnames are shown.

You can also use the link to search more specifically for mariages.

There are no baptisms in Elstree to William + Anne Collins
But it does look as though Thomas Collins, born 1782 Enfield to William + Anne, used the Mead name for one of his children.

This is correct as it came from a family bible

Maria 3 oct 1804
Joseph 29 oct 1806
John 15 sept 1808
Henry 23 sept 1811
Ann 1 mar 1815
Frederick 8 Jan 1818
