Looking for info on Catherine McIntyre, born on Islay around 1800. Parents Malcom and Catherine McIntyre. She married Angus Colquhoun around 1825 and lived in Glasgow. Searching for info on siblings and any additional info on parents.

I notice you don't give her mothers maiden name - is it known?
-
Mother's maiden name was also McIntyre

Have you already looked on Scotlands People Old Parish Registers (OPR'S)

did dhe die in Scotland after 1855? If so, do you have her death registration with details of parents?
There is a baptism 7 march 1808 in Kildalton, Islay for a Catherine Mcintyre daughter of Malcolm McIntyre & Hunter. Other baptisms show his wife to be Jean Hunter.

Not sure where the Peter comes in his name on this transcription as it doesn't show on other records and isn't on the transcribed records on DustyDocs.
But there does seem to be another Catherine baptised in 1813
Tne marriage for Malcolm was 26 Jan 1798

You may find something to help in these transcribed records

Did you get Catherine Colquhoun's parents names from her death certificate?
-
The 1851 entry shown above is the wrong family. 1841 entry shows father as Angus Colquhoun
Wrong reply - see my later post

Angus & Cathrine in 1841 have children called Mary 13, Duncan 11 and Neil 1 who would appear to match the 1851 census above. Daughter Euphemia is a visitor in the household of Robert McEwen & Ann Allan.

OOPS. Misread opening post. Malcolm McIntyre not Malcolm Colquhoun.
1851 is correct family
