There's a George Game in Sherborne district 1861 age 70 father to Anne Miller.

Living with her and grandchildren.   Both George and Anne are widowed.

He could be the father of Mary Game especially as birthplace for Anne is Pointington  :D

Marriage 1844 Sherborne Thomas Miller Anne Game.

Not what you asked for but am taking the long way round!

Almost definitiely they didn't have any children. There are none on any of the censuses and, when he died in 1907, he left money to George Game, Alfred Drewe and Mary, his widow - no mention of children (although I haven't sen the full will).

On the 1911 census Mary says that she has had no children, but that may be because her husband had died and the question asks how many chidlren you have had from 'this marriage'.

In 1871 they have 3 Game relatives living with them.

William 45 brother in law
Elizabeth 46 sister in law
Mary 20 niece

Do you have a copy of the Will?
If you are taking these names from the Probate Index entry, they will be the names of the executors, not the beneficiaries. You need to see the actual Will to see who the beneficiaries were.

You could cross reference the surnames on the birth index to check if they had any children that may have died but as noted there are none on census with them.

Thank you for your help so far. :D :D

I have found a 1861 Census - RG9 1360 111 page 14  Registration district Sherborne, Enumeration district 4a but not sure if his wife Mary born ca 1828 is Mary GAME :-\

Any ideas?

Birthplace fits with probable sister Anne who we know was a daughter of George Game.

What makes you think she isn't the same Mary as the marriage you found?

Baptism Mary Game daughter of George & Sarah in Poyntington 1 June 1828.
