I believe this cemetery was named so in the 1980s. Can anyone tell me what the name is today and where it's located? Thank you.
-
Only one I can find is Glencoe/Granaghan Cemetery, Achill Sound.
It has a Facebook page.
-
I've found another newspaper article that refers to it as Polranny Cemetery. Could they be the same and what address is it?
-
Don't know the address but it's here

I'll have a look for that other name.

The name isn't marked on the map but searching using Locality brings you to this spot.

which seems to be on the opposite side of the sound

Polranny seems the most likely to be known as Achill Sound Cemetery as it's practically in Achill Sound.

-
....because there was a junior??
-
....because there was a junior??
Sorry if I wasn't clear. Brian Corrigan SNR 1900-1987, his son Brian Corrigan JNR. The excerpt states a date of 2010 for the death of Brian Corrigan SNR. The dates don't match up.
-
Brian Corrigan SNR 1900-1987,....... his son Brian Corrigan JNR. would then not have been JNR!!
-
Brian Corrigan JNR. becomes Brian Corrigan SNR in 1987
