Post by: BUZZ on Sunday 21 May 17 15:18 BST (UK)
On the 1939 register some of my family are staying at Leloile, Fisher Avenue, Poole would anyone know if Leloile is the name of a hotel or something similar.

Looks more like L'Etoile to me.

Fisher Avenue is now Herbert Avenue.  Looking at the image many properties have names and appear to be ordinary family homes.

I agree with ShaunJ; looks more like L'Etoile.

I agree it does look like a house name L'etoile, but if you look closely it is in Herbert Road not Fisher Road.

You are right about the Herbert bit, it is Herbert Avenue. Well spotted.
