I'm looking for any information about my great grandfather, James Joseph Young who was born in Meath in around 1843, and migrated to Australia in abt 1863. His father is Robert Young and mother Susan Morrison. Their religion is unclear. I've found a Robert Young in Griffith's Valuation, but I can't be sure its the same family. I can't find any birth or baptism record for James Joseph, but perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated.
