This I think is the will of Thomas Tilley
now he may or may not be the correct one that is my 10th gg. :)
so being able to read this may help with my decisions.
My Thomas Tilley was born in 1565 and married to Margaretem Coppin in 1586 - ~South Kilworth~
So looking for his death.
thanks
xin ;) ;D

He is:
...Thomas Tilley thelder of
Enderby in the Countie of leicester yeoma(n)...
The will was sealed on 29 August 1658 so he would be about 103 if he were your man.
Further evidence he is unlikely to be your man, is that he requests his son Thomas to:
...have a great Care in the educac(i)on of my sonn Moores [his son-in-law Thomas Moore] Children...
Another granddaughter - Elizabeth, daughter of his son Thomas - is under twenty years of age.
His sons are John and Thomas. A William and Edward Tilley are among the witnesses.

lovely :) bless you and thank you..
So that was not my man.. but an interesting one never the less. :)
Back on the hunt for mine :)

Oh... I have two lines of Tilley's in my tree on separate branches..
and I do have a Thomas Moore (but 1725 Barwell) !! married to a Mary Tilley ... so I better get my Knitting needles and crochet hook to join this lot up somewhere :o ::) ::) ::)

Sorry, xinia, just realised I made an appalling mistake with the arithmetic - 93 not 103.
My apologies.

OK No problem I doubt he would have made 93 .. but its not him anyway wrong links.. but it is scary how there are so many similarities on both sides of my tree...
still I guess I'm not alone, coming from an area with so many little villages...
heres two of my 6 gg lines... showing the similarities
