Hi,
I'm looking for a burial for MARY EARL (previously Mary Life and Mary Teasdale), St Peter Parmentergate, Norwich, between 1799 and 1807 please. Also any other children born in the parish to her and John Parsons Earl in that time besides Maria Earl.

Possible death for John.

If Mary was born c1752 as per the burial she would have been around 48 when Maria was christened so doubtful that there were more children. :-\

His first wife Mary Teasdale/Life/Earl must have died before September 1807.
Witness Ann Church is possibly his sister, a John Earl was a witness to the marriage of Ann Earl to James Church 1 May 1794 at St Peter Per Mountergate other witness Samuel Earl.

Yes! Thank you so much, Harriot's the first child born to John Parsons Earl and his second wife Elizabeth Gray after Mary Earl's death. Now discovered she was born Elizabeth Gray Delf 1777 and then married William Blofield in 1803.
I've also found Elizabeth Earl bap 28 Oct 1810 Norwich St Swithin to John and Elizabeth Dease. The image is really hard to read but I'm wondering if it's a mis-reading of Delf? Her DoB would fit perfectly with other children - there are 3 other I think, in different parishes, Emily Ann 1812, Eliza Sarah 1814, John Parsons Earl 1816.

Super, thank you. I had the marriage but hadn't thought to look at the witnesses so that's a good lead, thanks so much. Yes I'm struggling to find Mary Earl's death but must be after Maria Earl's birth in 1799 and John's second marriage in 1807. I'm assuming St Peter Parmentergate due to their marriage in 1798, Maria's birth in 1799 and John's second marriage in 1807 all happening there but happens it's not.

Thanks for this, I'm not sure its her as John Earl remarried in 1807 in St Peter Parmentergate and was a widow then. I can't find a better death and burial at the moment though!

Mary Teasdell married Henry Life 4 November 1792 at St Peter P witnesses are hard to read.

They married by license Henry Life and Mary Teasdale License dated 2 November 1792 Norfolk Records Office ref: ANW 24/67/81
This may give more clues as to their lives/occupations etc.

The banns were read 9,16,28 December 1764 at St Peter Mancroft so they likely married in the last days of December 1764 or early 1765.
Haven't seen the marriage yet.
