In most of the photos I have of my Grandmother as a young girl, there is someone else in the photo. So it is quite poignant that this photo is labelled 'Just Me'. I think she might have been quite pleased to be on her own in a photo though I can see there was someone hovering just behind . . see the hand and arm, skirt and shoes.
I may have posted this before . . . but I came across the original again last night when searching for something else. Gran was born in 1892 so this will be mid to late 1890s.
You may play if you wish, but the photo isn't in bad nick really. I'm not into colouring old photos.

That's lovely Wiggy, :)
I can see the likeness to you in your grandmother also. ;D

Quick tweak...

Thanks Yvonne and Andy! :)
I was thinking about this family last night. They weren't well off by any means, as Dad died when this cherub was only 3 , and her mother died when she was 14.
But . . . One of the brothers was a photographer . . . . so I expect that accounts for the number of photos we have of them. ;)

That's very sad Wiggy,
she would have loved her own family even more.

A late try, with traces of the other person removed. Cheers, Peter.
