Title: Jane Mason death Cockermouth early 1883
Post by: pergamond on Friday 23 June 17 00:58 BST (UK)
I just wondered if anyone has access to the relevant Parish Register please? Not sure which Parish it would be. I'd like to know any details at all about Jane if possible. She was born about 1834. Thanks :)

The parish register burial entry will only show her name/age and possibly her address in the way of personal details so it's not clear what info you are looking for

You presumably have her on the 1881 and earlier censuses?

Yes, I have those thanks. Her address would be very useful if it is included to confirm it is the correct person.

In 1881 Jane lived in Workington, St Michaels Parish. Sorry - just checked.

Is this the same Jane Mason who was born in the Isle of Man, living with children John & Catherine, living at 6 Bells Lane?

What are you looking for?
Her husband was William Mason, children John William, Eleanor Jane & Catherine Isabella all born on the Isle of Man, when Jane was living in Workington with John & Catherine, William appears to be still living on the Isle of Man.

I was wanting to check that the death was the same Jane Mason, so if an address or husband's name was on the register that would have helped.

But I've actually been following William and his second wife Sarah.
