Thank you for sharing the interesting article  :D A few weeks ago there was a programme on TV called Salvage Hunters, a chap called Drew Pritchard tours the country collecting curios & antiques. He visited John Taylor & Co Bell Foundry in Loughborough and it showed how they tune the bells. I never thought I would find anything like that interesting, but it was  :)
