Post by: daretodiscover on Saturday 01 July 17 01:57 BST (UK)
Good evening all,

I am trying to obtain a copy of the above mentioned veteran's obituary.

Unfortunately, I do not have the precise date in October.

Grateful for any assistance that can be provided.

Many thanks,

DTD

Is there a reason why you think that there is one for him?

Nothing showing on the Ryerson Index.

Hi Jamjar,

He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal for his service over Germany. A contact at the RSL said if he was a member there would have been an obituary.

Two weeks ago clicking on Gibbons' name on that site led you only to the webmaster. Thank you for this information.

Hi Giblet,

Many thanks for the information on where he lies. I have had some luck making contact with the next of kin by emailing the graveyard or crematorium.

My thanks again to all.
