Title: CASHIN - Liverpool to Melbourne - Unknown ship
Post by: JACK GEE on Wednesday 12 July 17 02:56 BST (UK)
Hello Troops,
i am unable to find the name of this ship.
It left the Mersey River [Liverpool] on the 13th December 1849 and arrived in Melbourne [Port Phillip] on Saturday 23rd March 1850. Other bits -
Caste anchor at 1am - Baby born on board 31st January 1850 - Never sighted land on whole trip - James Cashin born Isle of Man 1812 Rushin to William Cashin and Ann Creer was listed as in steerage and moved to the Carpenters quarters mid trip. Info from Aly Kroon - Flourmillers and Farmers - The Cashin Family. But no ships name.

Any assistance appreciated.

cheers
