Can anyone help with an obituary if there is one for William Kidd who died 6th Jan 1878 Thornage Norfolk. He was born c1805 in Stratford London and married Ann Keeler 4th July 1827 in Weston Longville Norfolk. I am trying to get back a generation but can't seem to establish who his parents were.
Would appreciate any help

I see that he was an agricultural labourer. They tend not to have obituaries written about them.
I had a look in the online newspapers (just in case) but couldn't see anything.

Have you tried West Ham parish registers or Whitechapel both are only a few miles from Stratford.

I live in Lancashire so I am unable to look these up myself. There is nothing on Ancestry or Find My Past online parish records. I have posted a request on the Essex board for a look up of their parish records for baptism and marriage.

Norfolk Family History Society has a transcription of the marriage 4 July 1827 at Weston Longville Norfolk
William Kidd of Weston to Ann Keeler of Weston.
Witnesses Hannah Flowers, William Temple and William Large (the only one who signed)

Thank you for looking up the marriage, really appreciate that. Just a pity that it does not give the details of William's father to help get back a generation.
