Title: Madox burial record 1625
Post by: Llanfihangel on Tuesday 18 July 17 01:55 BST (UK)
Hi,
Here is a Parish record of a person buried in Shropshire in 1624.. I think it reads "buried son of Rich Madox without baptism" Please let me know if this is correct.... Richard Madox's son was buried without baptism (presumably he died before the baptism ritual)
Thanks again...

Tertio die sepulta fuit filia Rica[rdi] Madox [     ] bap[t]iz[a]ta

On the third day was buried the daughter of Richard Madox [       ] baptized

I can't quite make out the word before "baptized". It is a she, however, not a he.

Just for completion's sake, the missing word is haud, meaning 'not'.
