I think it was moved to Post Office Square Bus Station but when the site was modernised it was sold
to a private individual and erected in a private garden in the Morpeth area . My local " research " suggests as many people who have seen Elvis recently are certain they have seen it but can not rcall where

There was a FOI request about this fountain

Maybe if you do the same to Northumberland County Council and ask what happened to it they will reply ???

The water foutain is believed to be in a private garden at Mitford. There has been much discussion about it elsewhere on the WWW. You can see some comments about the subject here;

I visited the suggested site of Blyth Market Place Drinking Fountain using the information indicated on Google ,map kindly supplied by Stan ; only to draw a complete blank . The occupant of the property shown said he had no knowledge of the fountain and had not heard of it during his twentyfive years living in the area. A close neighbour who had lived in the area for sixty-plus years also claimed not to have any knowledge of any drinking fountain . The site is either a closely guarded secret , to rightly , maintain the privacy of the owner or it has long been removed and its whereabouts forgotten .
