My 3x great grandfather was a Hugh McMillan of Kilchoman, born 1827. His parents were Hugh McMillan and Christian MacAlister. He married Ann McLean, also of Kilchoman, born about 1835. Her parents were Donald McClean and Catherine McMillan.
I'd be interested to know if Catherine was related to Hugh in some way. Her parents are named as Archibald and Catherine MacFayden on her death certificate, but I can't find a birth record or marriage record for her parents on ScotlandsPeople.
Is anybody here connected to these families?
