I can't quite figure out what the occupation is from this 1901 census. It's the one on the top line - ________ apprentice.
The census in 1911 has him as a horse keeper.
Hope someone can help..

Similar writing from the 1911 census, definitely Printers
-
I am still confident with Printer's
Who is it that the entry is for then we can have a look at other entries in the same handwriting
-
Definitely Printers Apprentice, this shows the employer

The record is for John Halliday aged 18 in Birkenhead, Cheshire.
I've had a look at the few pages before and after and found a Philip with the same capital P. I think this was confusing me most! I'm now in agreement.
Thanks all.
