Title: Occupation help
Post by: khalliday181 on Saturday 22 July 17 18:07 BST (UK)
I can't quite figure out what the occupation is from this 1901 census. It's the one on the top line - ________ apprentice.

The census in 1911 has him as a horse keeper.

Hope someone can help..

3 votes for 'Printers'. I still can't see it. It's the beginning of the word i'm struggling with. How confident are you guys with Printer?

The record is for John Halliday aged 18 in Birkenhead, Cheshire.

I've had a look at the few pages before and after and found a Philip with the same capital P. I think this was confusing me most! I'm now in agreement.

Thanks all.
