Title: And the very last query for the moment - promise!
Post by: Penholder on Tuesday 25 July 17 16:14 BST (UK)
Here I can't work out the bit between what seems to say "by the oathes of the said Confederates &" and "for that such your orators witnesses"

Once again, any help will be very gratefully received.

Hi Horsleydown86

Once again a very big thank you.   That was all I could think of.   I can't say that the sentence is any clearer as it's another really rambling one but I expect it's legalese.   It's good to have your corroboration.

If you put "and the rather for that" (with the quotes) into a search engine, you'll find that this was a fairly common construction in the C17th and C18th.

It seems to mean something like:

...instead of what has been supposed or alleged, the actuality is...[this other thing]
