Richard Clancy was born in 1793 Ireland.  He was sent out to VDL for 7 yrs  on the Mary.

I think he came from Limerick.

Hi,
If your Richard died in 4th May 1853 in Tazmania, I saw a tree and it said he was from Waterford.
I looked in another site and got........
Richard Clancy
Baptism:  14 Oct 1792 - Tallow, Waterford, Ireland.
Father was also Richard and Mother was Ann.
There was only one record for a Richard Clancy in the site.
By 1825 there was a Bartholomew, John and David Clancy listed in the Tithe records in Tallow.
