Title: Date in Latin - completed
Post by: grantleydawn on Monday 31 July 17 02:10 BST (UK)
Can anyone please explain this date abbreviation from a Will?

ml vc p oon

I am happy that the ml is short for Millesimo
I am happy that the vc is 500 and the p is short for primo.

I have no idea about the oon on the end.

What you are reading as a p is an &.

ml vc & oon = 1501

Does that accord with what is registered?

Thank you.
I agree with the p being an &.

Silly me for not seeing that.
