anyone remember my dad frank chance he lived at bairds square holytown he was born 1926

Couldn't see any trace of his birth on Scotlands People.        But there was a William Chance living at 49 Bairds Square on the Valuation Rolls for 1915, 1920, 1925 and 1930.      This may have been his father.     ...I did see another William Chance, born in Holytown, in 1934.      Maybe he is Frank's brother.    But I don't see any records for Frank.

thanks sarah yes this was his dad my dad was norn in 1926 he had a brother peter and a sister annie think there mum died when my dad was very young ? I'm hoping to come visit Scotland to find my grandparents graves but don't know where to start

Could it be that your family was originaly Czerinas ?
There is a birth registered in 1926 Holytown for a Franas Czerinas , also a birth for a Petras Czerinas 1923 Holytown.

Annie could possibly be Anele Czerinas birth 1917 Holytown Lanark.

Unfortunately all the births found are too recent to view online.
Your father's birth certificate will have details of his parents but this would need to be ordered from https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/

ok thankyou I do have my fathers birth certificate somewhere ill look again for it . is there any photos of the street where they lived ? and were they any other czerinas in holy town ? thankyou

could anyone also tell me what street William chance born 1934 lived at and was there any more children born there as think this might be my dads step brother and I think my dads dad remarried when his mum died think she died wen my dad was about 10 ? thanks again for any help
