I am trying to find the parents of Thomas Lee born 1866,Warwickshire, (died 1901 age 33). I have his marriage certificate stating that he married Ann Maria Parker in 1889 (died 1904) in Birmingham. The certificate shows his father a Thomas Lee (Deceased - Wire Drawer). I seem to have come to a completed stop :-\
I have him on the 1891 census as living at 5 Hse, 9 Crt, Newhall Street together with his wife Ann M, son Thomas H, Henritetta Scrivens (Aunt) (1854-1901) and George Scrivens (cousin), but nothing on the family before that.
Any help gratefully received as I am doing this on behalf on my Great aunt (formally a Lee) who has turned 91 and is desperate for any information. Thanks

Hi,
Have you looked at the GRO website to see if his mother's maiden is recorded?

Thanks for the info, never looked at the GRO site before. Think I have found some of the missing bits :)

Might this be him on the 1881?

Here's Henrietta and George on the 1881 census:

Their marriage:Henrietta Stephens to Arthur Scriven Dec quarter 1873 Birmingham 6d 126
Birth: SCRIVEN, GEORGE mmn STEPHENS

A possibility for Henrietta on the 1871 census. The question now is what is the connection that leads her to be the aunt of Thomas?

Would you be the same person who had the sane information on a U.K. forum website?
The have come up with the same findings as I have.
They suggest that Henrietta may be related to the wife and not to Thomas.
