Hi
Could anyone tell me when the Dromore Presbyterian Church was built? I've looked on the internet but I can't find anything that tells me the year it was built.
Many Thanks

There's more than one- do you know which you are looking for?

Isn't the OP looking for Dromore, County Tyrone?

I am looking for the Dromore, Tyrone church, that's why I posted the question to the Tyrone list.
Thanks

Absolutely right, KGarrad. Must go to Specsavers ;D
Lewis' Topographical Dictionary (1837) mentions church was built in 1694-

Have a book downstairs which might give more recent details so will post more later.

The 1694 date is for the Church of Ireland church. I am looking for the year the Presbyterian Church was built. I just can't find it anywhere.
Thanks

A History of Congregations in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland 1610-1982:
Dromore, Co. Tyrone
"in 1846 the church was rebuilt"

Thank you aghadowey, that is a great answer. It means my husband's family attended the church as it now stands in Dromore. They didn't leave for Australia until 1856.
I appreciate your time & effort, thank you again.
