Hi all could you plz give me your opinion on informants name
I read Janet Anderson Sister? left her mark
I have a few from fenwick where details given are incorrect and im doubting this case as well but if it is sister to deceased then i have to accept it as in parents names
Thanks:)

I read it as Janet Andrew.

I agree with avm228. Andrew it is.

Family Search shows a William Andrew marrying a Janet Woodburn in Kilmarnock 15th August 1816. A possible candidate.

Thank you yes she would have been a much older sister tho as the Robert named on cert was born 1815

Maybe this isn't your Robert? The certificate says 1859, and age of 66, so this Robert was born around 1793. ???
(You mentioned Fenwick.... familysearch has a Robert Woodburn christened 1815 in nearby Galston, with parents William Woodburn and Christian Ferguson, if that might be closer to what you are seeking)

you know ive been looking at age as 44 ...now that i look yes its 66 eek
so this is another Robert again
My Robert is born 1791 to Hugh WOODBURN but ive been trying to track all the other Roberts to eliminate or tie them in to a wider Woodburn family
Thank you :)

Your family sounds like mine; you pretty much end up doing a one-name study in the area to weed out all the cousins. Good luck!
