Looking for information on Walter woodcraft who was lance corporal in London regiment and died 1917
Any help greatly appreciated

The 1/9 QVR diary doesn't give much info. about exactly where they were on the 14th. however they relieved the 8/ Norfolks on the 12th. & they do.
They were on this map (J 14)

All in red are the recently captured German trenches. This was the 3rd. Battle of Ypres.
This is what the Norfolks diary says + the 1/9th. QVR position on the 14th.

I thought it was worth pointing out Carole because of the number of threads this was happening on and its not fair to keep posting for information if you don't acknowledge the length of time RootsChatters spend looking for information for you.
