Title: Thurles Parish Baptismal record
Post by: annclare on Tuesday 15 August 17 12:57 BST (UK)
This baptismal record has been transcribed as Jerry of Edmond Gorman and Mary Sweeney. Wonder if it should be Terry not Jerry and I believe  Mary's surname is not Sweeney. Any thoughts?

It is Terry. If you look further down the page there is a James and a John, where the J is not like the initial letter of your name. There is also a Thomas and a Tom further down the page which begin like your name.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I have now found the baptism of my great grandfather Terence Gorman something I have been looking for many years.
Thanks so much.
