Between 1960 and 1965 ? Can anyone help ?
I am trying To find a marriage Jean Eirwen Catton to a man called Bestward in Ontario.
-
A marriage in the 1960's suggests a birth around 1940 so is this person still alive?
-
No. Do you have anything to move this forward ?
-
When and are did she die? it might be possible to work back from that date, find an obituary, passenger manifest, etc.
Ontario has strict privacy rules and marriages for that period are not online.

She died on 17 Jan 2007 in the US according to the U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 database at Ancestry. It doesn't say where but it does say her SSN was issued in New York in Feb 1964.
She was born in Wales in 1942.

Thank you Jaquie and thank you Jam jar for your time and your help. This ends very sadly and whilst I mentioned googling the names some of the media coverage from 2010 is quite graphic. I give Thanks to President Obama for helping justice to succeed in the end.
-
A rather shocking end. At least her parents were spared the pain of it.
Where does the Bestward fit in?

Thank you Jamjar. On Canadian Voters lists Jeans surname is Bestward in 1965 in Ontario. Living with her parents.
-
It is only what became of Bestward that interests me to fill in the gaps.
-
I see. I'm sure the Canadian experts here will be able to assist.

I didn't know she had remarried so I'll add that the SSDI information has her surname as Bestward, not Enriquez.

Billion Graves has a headstone transcription as Enriquez for her and her husband at Memorial Pines Cemetery, Sunland Park New Mexico.
Also inscriptions for her daughter & son in law
-
Thank you Carole . You are right. As you can see the daughter and son in law who were caught up in the tragic events in Mexico in 2010.
-
I am renewing my request for information after two years hoping that if I re surface it some fresh eyes can help with my request for help.
Thanks in Advance.

What are the names of her parents? Did they remain in Toronto?

and
Gwladys M Cooke 1920-1969
Grants second wife was Ruth C.Moore 1915-1999 he is buried with her.
All three died in Middlesex County Ontario

Have you checked with the London library or the London branch of the OGS for the parents' obituaries? I wonder if Glady's from 1969 might mention Jean?

Do you know the date in 1969 when Gladys died? The index I posted above gives Toronto as her "community". I am not finding an obit for her in the Toronto papers using a name search. A date would be very helpful.
