Hello--
Have an old photo with the following on reverse:
J. Thomas
Photographer
81 Rhondda Street
Swansea
The J. is written over, but looks like J.
Trying to pinpoint year. May be in 1895-1910 period.

Hi,
There is a John (also known as Jack) Thomas living at that address in 1911, he had a wife Esther
The same couple are in Cockett, Swansea in 1901 and John (born 1879) was then a Grocers Assistant.
He appears to have still been a photographer in 1939.

"Victorian Photographers of Wales", compiled from Trade Directories has Jack Thomas in 1910 until 1926, at 209b High Street, Swansea.
And at 12 St Helen's Road in 1923 and 1926.
