hello have been on the forum before looking for descendants james greer.
james greer gives his birthplace has stone house Devon, and on his marriage in 1846 in Woolwich to Elizabeth Wilson. He gives his father has Thomas greer, who indicates his trade has watchmaker.
james was in the royal artillery, I have these records and details.
looking for any help of james and his father thomas please. thank you brian pritchard

1851 census has James born c1817 in Stonehouse, Devon.
