Title: Worcestershire or Warwickshire ?
Post by: Sandyq on Wednesday 23 August 17 17:26 BST (UK)
I am trying to trace the family of Mary Ann Taylor who married Thomas Kenning on 21st March 1886 at St Thomas Birmingham. and gives her age as 19 and her father is John Taylor.
In the 1911 census she gives her birthplace as Alcester Street, Birmingham, Worcester which is pretty specific. Would that be King's Norton registration district or any suggestions to finding her family please ?

Apologies BUT - don't you just love it when the abbreviation of W'shire (associated with Birmingham) is transcribed as Worcestershire  :-X :-X

G...gle maps says that Alcester Street, Birmingham is located in Deritend.
