Failiure to register a birth only became a fineable offence in 1874/75.  If there is no birth on freebmd then it was unregistered.  Presume you have already tried under Lewis just in case?

Why would they bother to have him baptised if don't register the death. Can't find any info on his parents if they got married or not. Edward Lewis. And Elizabeth Hughes. Edward was on Williams marriage certificate can't find any more. Thanks

Given that his name is given literally earlier, there are very few possibilities.

There is a tree on Ancestry that has William Lewis Hughes
Birth 05 AUG 1848 • Broughton, Denbighshire
Death BET. JAN–MAR 1929 • Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

His parents are Edward Hughes and Mary Parry.
William Lewis Hughes  marries Mary Ann Dodd (1847 - 1874) they have a son
Robert William Hughes Dec qtr 1867–

18 Dec 1875  William Lewis Hughes 28 married Sarah Ann Burndred at  Northwood, Stafford,

The problem here is that this tree has the same census that I found and thought was wrong.
So I`m still not able to be sure about anything.

Just to state that other people`s trees should NOT be relied on as accurate, you should use them as  clues and check it all up yourself.  :)
