Hi
I am looking for the burials of Henry Hoare [Hoar] and his wife Ann both born c 1771 and on the 1841 census are living in Godmersham.
from free bmd I have a possible death for Henry in 1851 and for Ann in 1846 but without ages don't know if its them, any help would be welcome.
thanks Janway

I couldn't see anything in the Godmersham registers. You can now check the ages on the GRO website ( just register and log in for free search ) and, if you mean the East Ashford registrations ,Ann was 70 and Henry was 11.

You can get ages at death on GRO index

FindMyPast doesn't cover the Godmersham burials for those dates so it's no surprise I didn't find them. Regarding the 1851 Henry death , aged 11 , there was a Henry Hoar born Godmersham 1840 so I think that must be him.

The age of 11 could be weeks / months or years as the GRO index does not differentiate between them ;) It is however likely to be the 1840 one :)
