Ever have a moment where something in your tree doesn't seem right anymore?
William Marriott b 1797,son of John and Alice, i first found living in Coates,Cambridgeshire in 1851 census with wife Mary b 1798 pob Thorney and children Rebecca b 1829,Betsey b 1833,William b 1836 and Sarah b 1839 all born Whittlesey.
Today re-checking Yaxley PR CD i find another William b 1797 son of Thomas,soldier,and Elizabeth though i can't see other births for this couple.The only marriage i have found for William is in Yaxley in 1817 to Elizabeth Tom(b)lin but not found any baptisms for this couple.
Is there a way to trace soldier Thomas through military records?Anything i am missing?
