Definately maiden name Ellis received birth cert of one of their children today

Suggest you check after the childs birth, many didn't marry till later or of course not at all and just 'assumed' their 'husbands' surname

Hello :)
I can't find a marriage for your couple on the Nottinghamshire FHS marriage index.
I am guessing this might be them.... :-\ maybe you will need to purchase the certificate to find the full details.
