EDITED SHOULD HAVE READ 1882/4 
 Trying to find the marriage details of a James Taylor who married Ann(ie) Ellis around 1882/4 +/- . Probably Worksop Nottinghamshire

Thankyou for that iluleah Ann Elis wasnt born till 1859 I made an error in the post and they were married somewhere around 1882 to 1884 as first child born about 1885 so just surmising at the moment

Definately maiden name Ellis received birth cert of one of their children today

Suggest you check after the childs birth, many didn't marry till later or of course not at all and just 'assumed' their 'husbands' surname

I can't find a marriage for your couple on the Nottinghamshire FHS marriage index.

I am guessing this might be them.... :-\   maybe you will need to purchase the certificate to find the full details.
