Margaret Warwick Kirk maiden name Troxel was the daughter of Orlando C Troxel and Janie Delia Jones.
Orlando died 1917 and Janie in 1955 they at both buried Arlington National Cemetery.
Janie D Jones her mother is mentioned in the will of Margaret Ogden 1902 Alabama, she was given the oil portrait of Margaret painted 1849 when she was 28.
I was hoping someone knows the family and do they still have the portrait, it was possibly painted by William Frye/Fry a noted artist who lived in Huntsville 1847-1870. I would like to get a picture of it.
I am researching early cabinet makers of Huntsville and Margaret Ogden' husband John Ogden is one of my subjects.
