Trying to find anything about this guy. Born 1873 and passed on 24/11/1943. The spelling of Willmott is all over the place and BDM have his death under Johnston. Supposed Father of Arthur Bergh born 1903 and married Eliza Darnell supposed nee James in 1908. There even seems to be dispute as to which Charles and Henrietta are his parents.
-
Where do you think his birth was ?
Louisa Maud
-
Supposedly Hamilton and Death Wellington but that is from a smart match on a tree
-
The birth you are referring to?
1873/14786 Johnson Thomas Wilmot Henrietta Charles
Minniehaha.
-
Yes
-
And the cemetery details:

Thanks. Thought to try Johnston at BDM but not at Welli Cemetery and when Kapiti started giving me grief decided to call in the experts.

-
Well that doesn't sound like he had any close relatives in his life.
-
The marriage:
1908/992 Eliza Darnell Thomas Willmott Johnson
Minniehaha.
-
If the tree I can see is correct then she was nee James and there is a marriage in 1885 of Eliza James to a Darnell. Which would make her a few years older than Thomas if that is her.

-
Can anyone see his Mum Mrs Davidson in the electoral rolls. May help with working out if she was nee Aitkin or Mess.man. Dang predictive text is in overdrive
-
From a free search there is a Henrietta Bruoe (Bruce?) Davidson showing up on notices of deceased estates 1932 but not at BDM
-
Looks like her 2nd married surname was > DAVISON > and not DAVIDSON.
Her death @ NZ BDM >
1932 - DAVISON - Henrietta Bruce - 79 years
~ Lu
-
NZ Marriage :
Henrietta Bruce JOHNSON -- Joseph Hinsely* DAVISON -- Year: 1911
[Note: *On another record I see his second christian name is spelled as "Hinseley" ]

Have found the 1842 marriage to Harriet J(ane) Wilmot and Thomas R(evel) Johnson. A Google search of the names brought up a genie.com tree that shows Thomas as a bastard of an unknown Mother and Father as surname Guest esq of Ireland and then goes up the Guest line till 1522
-
Not a lot of Thomas Aitken deaths and the only one at the Thames cemetery data base is 3 months old

When my Uncle built his own house on the family property he included a self contained granny house section where Doris lived for close to 30 years She was a lovely person and was Nana Bergh to me. When a friend of hers passed on she lamented to my Mother that her friend had been the last person to still call her Doris.
