looking for information on George Best married to Ann Marie Ley about 1850. I believe that both George and Ann came from St Thomas/Topsham area. Had twins Mary Sarah and Sarah Mary!! Any information appreciated

Yes that fits better. I can't find him after his marriage, but judging by the number of children they had he popped home quite regularly! ;D ;D

Hi again, Richard the father is a Groom in 1851, but a Gardener in 1861 census, checking the children born c 1840 it shows the maiden name of Sarah is CHOWN, a Richard BISS married a Sarah Chown 5th November 1821 East Budleigh.
