Title: Claire and Thomas Brackens photo from ireland needs flash camera mark removing
Post by: smileygirl on Tuesday 26 September 17 11:57 BST (UK)
Please can you have a go at improving this old family photograph. It is a photo of a photo so you can see the camera flash and if you can brighten it or make it clearer in any way that would be great too

Thanks in advance.

Would it not be possible to scan this, or at least re-photograph it in natural light? The reflection has destroyed a lot of detail.

All the latest photos being posted by 'seperate' members are all found on the same blog... I'd be careful downloading anything to restore.  :-\

Sorry, I don't understand Gramekas post. Here is my attempt at restoration, but as Handypandy has said, it would be greatly improved with a better scan.

Good effort Pat. I had three goes at it and still couldn't make it look sensible.
