Can some kind soul with better lookup skills than I, try and find Rachel Jane Weaver in the 1861 census
Rachel was baptised in the Shirley district of Southampton in 1854, father John Henry Weaver, mother Jane nee Ray. Her birth was registered in South Stoneham 1854
She married in 1871, Shirley, Southampton to William Elderfield.
I have her in the 1871 onwards
Thank you

Many thanks for looking, I don't know what to make of the Spiller surname. Suzard, I'd seen the census return you found and dismissed it as mothers maiden name for the child is different
Once again, many thanks for taking the time to having a look
Kind regards
Simon

According to the 1871 census, John Henry was born 1822 in Thrillworth, Somerset; his wife Jane was born 1829 in Romsey, Hampshire.

The possible birth reg for Mary Jane Weaver bn c1860 gives mmn Pinnick. Other Weaver children with mmn Pinnick are Herbert, Ernest & Oscar who are staying with Robert Callen & family in 1861
RG09 / 671 f26 p11. GRO Index has a marriage between a James Weaver & Frances Pinnick,
Sep qtr 1857 New Forest reg district

I wonder if the 'Spiller' 1861 is the correct family but Jane was actually staying with her parents and looking after Mary Jane as a Nurse child. She did have a nurse child on the 1871 census. Places of birth almost tie in
